HOUSE OF CHARITY

Kick-Off Weekend - May 20-21

 St Joseph's Parish Goal - $108,376

Pope Francis has reminded us that “God’s mercy can make even the driest land become a garden, can restore life to the dry bones” (3/31/13)”

Each year, the House Charity, Bishop’s Annual Appeal grants the faithful of South Jersey an opportunity to support the various ministries of the Diocese of Camden as it seeks to create a garden of compassion in our region.

This weekend is the “kick-off” of our local parish drive with its’ goal of $108,376. I wish to express my gratitude to all who will be contributing to the appeal, and I ask every parishioner and friend of St. Joseph’s to prayerfully consider a generous donation as we attempt to meet the needs of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

I thank our parish committee…J.B. Flora, Hank Page, and Kathy Walters for their work on behalf of this important effort.

May the Risen Lord be with us as we respond to the Gospel call to “Encounter the Living God” in our care for the less fortunate among us.

God Bless,
Father Perreault

Giving Opportunity on Kick-Off Weekend:

Time will be allotted after J.B.'s talk to fill in the House of Charity contribution form that will be at the end of each pew.  If you won't be at church this weekend, click here to print the contribution form

As you will see, the form is in an envelope, which makes your giving both private and secure.   Should you need more time to decide on your donation, simply take home the form and mail it back in the envelope provided.

Your contribution may be made by check, credit card, or cash and it can be a one-time donation or paid in monthly installments.

Visit the Diocese of Camden website for more information or to donate online.

Questions may be directed to J.B. Flora at 609-263-9357.
